A little about me...

Ever since I was a child, I have had an interest in photography and I have always been the one with the camera everywhere I went. I have albums and albums of pictures of all the special moments in my life. After college I pursued a different career and worked in the software industry for many years. During that time I always maintained my interest in photography and educated myself at New England School of Photography in Boston, MA. It has always been a dream of mine to become a professional photographer and this dream became a reality when Kelli Barker Photography was started.

As a mother of two, I know how important it is to capture the special moments of childhood. When my daughter was younger she would always do this funny thing with her hands everytime she heard music playing. She would stop whatever she was doing and move her little fingers exactly to the beat of the music. One day I decided to photograph her doing this and made a collage of the pictures of her musical hands. I'm sure when other people look at this collage they don't really know what's going on but to our family these pictures are priceless and have captured a precious memory that we will never forget.

It is my goal to provide families with an opportunity to have enjoyable photo sessions and to have portraits that they will treasure for a lifetime. My casual approach to each photography session will allow your child's true personality to show in every portrait. I specialize in capturing unique and creative portraits of babies and children. From a precious newborn, to a sweet innocent baby, to an inquisitive toddler and silly young child, it all goes by so quickly. I am passonate about my work and truely enjoy each and every photo session.

I continue to educate myself on all the latest photographic techniques and trends. I am also an active member of Professional Photographers of Massachusetts, Professional Photographers of New England and continue to participate in workshops and professional photography forums.

I live in North Attleboro, Massachusetts with my husband Scott and my two children Mitchell and Chloe.
